I am fascinated by trees and by energy. The wind in the leaves is energy made manifest. When I was making the ‘tree’ sculpture 400year old trees were being felled to create the Roe 8 H’Way. I felt as though the sculpture was a memorial and my way to say sorry. The sculpture uses lead, copper, steel wire and wood.
